The Yoga Den strives to make yoga accessible for everyone, especially those facing barriers in our community.

Our Teacher Training program teaches new and emerging yoga professional, to teach in a way that provides speac to everyone, regardless of their lived experiences. Since opening its doors, The Den has offered a free yoga program to women who have experienced trauma, and takes referrals from community agencies, such as Bridges and VWTHThis is a weekly class offered for free. Please emails if you would like an application form. We also offer our space when possible for practitioners to provide free or accessible programs. In November 2012 we collaborated with the amazing organization Karma Teachers Vancouver to become the home of “Karma Teachers” in Victoria. We are honored to be involved in their mission: to share the benefits of yoga and enhance people’s lives while encouraging selfless action. Check out their website and see the amazing work they are doing at their studio in Vancouver’s downtown east side.
