Community Offerings are all offered on a sliding scale and/or benefit a charity directly with the intention of supporting underserved communities in our local neighbourhood. While these sliding scales are suggested donations, no one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you or someone you know has been affected by crisis, systemic sexism or racism, please reach out to hello@fernwoodyogaden.com for accessible payment plans.
A Fernwood Yoga Den Fundraiser
For the week of April 12-18, join us for a community fundraiser in support of our old growth forest in Fairy Creek, as well as local artists, and your community.
The last year has been difficult on small businesses and artists. We are so lucky to live with a community of curious, heart-centered, nature-based folx that want to co-create a harmonious presence toward a bright future. At this point, we are asking for your help to keep our doors open as well as support our wonderful teachers and practitioners to continue having a home to share with you.
We also recognize that there are many social and environmental causes that need assistance right now. At the moment, the future of our last remaining old growth forest in BC is at stake, and many in our community have expressed interest in supporting the efforts to save it. During this One Week for Fairy Creek, we invite you to engage with community through various by-donation events. All are welcome- your presence in community forging relationship and conversation is far more important than your ability to donate financially.
